Mediaplus, a subsidiary of the Serviceplan Group, is looking for an Customer Journey Director BMW/MINI in Amsterdam on behalf of 'The Marcom Engine'.

The Marcom Engine (TME) fully integrates strategy, creation and production in one entity. A customized agency for BMW Group: BMW & Mini. This includes all areas of data-driven performance marketing and analytics, marketing automation, CJ management, digital channels, reversed sales funnel planning and CRM.

As a transnational agency operating system for all European markets, TME comprehensively integrates the classic marketing disciplines of strategy, creation, and production with all relevant aspects of the customer journey - while raising them to a high-tech level.

This includes all areas of data-driven performance marketing and analytics, marketing automation, programmatic media, and CRM support.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Customer Journey Director (CJD) to join our team and take ownership of marketing campaigns and customer journey execution. As the primary point of contact for National Sales Company CJMs (BMW/MINI), you will play a pivotal role in driving real business value through innovative marketing strategies, campaign management, cross-functional collaboration and make sure all different channels are aligned.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

·         Campaign Management & Impact: Oversee the planning and execution of local marketing campaigns, leveraging data insights to enhance performance, drive customer engagement, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

·         Strategic Integration & Oversight: Ensure the seamless integration of central tools and processes, maintaining consistent performance while aligning local strategies with broader strategic goals.

·         Process & Stakeholder Optimization: Manage process improvements and key stakeholder relationships to facilitate successful delivery of local services and performance tracking based on KPIs.

·         Insights & Collaboration: Foster knowledge-sharing across teams, markets, and stakeholders to support campaign success and improve efficiency through the use of centralized tools.

·         Account Management & Team Coordination: Lead the campaign lifecycle from initiation to execution, ensuring smooth collaboration across teams and integrating local insights into broader strategic initiatives.

·         Financial Stewardship: Work closely with finance teams to manage budgets, contribute to forecasting and planning, and ensure financial targets are met.

·         Budget & Financial Oversight: Take full ownership of financial aspects, including budget management, annual planning, and financial reconciliation.

 

AS AN IDEAL CANDIATE, YOU HAVE

  •          Proven experience in customer journey management, campaign execution, or marketing strategy.
  •          Strong background in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  •          Data-driven mindset with expertise in performance tracking and KPI management.
  •          Ability to lead and coordinate teams across different regions and functions.
  •          Financial acumen and experience with budget planning and management.
  •          Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  •          Experience within the automotive or luxury industry is a plus.
  •          Fluent in English; Dutch would be an advantage and being stationed in The Netherlands is a must.
